Describe a place you never forget by Sarah Lim Hui MIn

We came across it when my father decided to take a drive up to Malaysia. "I want to see the stars," he had said. Here in Singapore, it is so bright that light pollution cloaks the stars and one can hardly have a glimpse of their celestial glory. So my father, with the family in tow, drove to Malaysia, leaving our house at seven o' clock at night, under cover of evening.

He trawled the streets, looking for unlit areas where we could stop and stargaze but we could not find one. It was midnight when we decided to give up and head back home. Sorely disappointed, we began our trip, homeward bound.

It was so dark that buildings, which could be seen before, now were rendered invisible by darkness. So, naturally, we got lost. We stopped at the side of the road and got out to stretch, However when we slid out, we suddenly realized that this was what we had been searching for.

The stretch of road we were on had no street lights at all and the whole street was black. There are few words i can use to describe the majesty of it all. The ground seemed to disappear beneath our feet and instead, we floated around space, so limitless it was. And when i gazed up the sly, I finally knew why my father loved the stars so much. The stars, with their cold white beauty, speckled the sky, like diamonds on an endless black cloth. As we admired the s6tars, a soft breeze tugged firmly and persistently at our hair, sighing so seductively as if urging us to drift off and join the stars. My only anchor to the gravelly ground was our batted green Hyundai which i clung to in fear that i would lose myself. It was an unforgettable sight.

Silence prevailed as we crossed the causeway. We were trying to gather the details of the scene in our heads. Dazzled and awestruck, we remained speechless until the next morning.

heres a happy birthday post for you!!! ok today my sis's bf cme to my hse! he is so weird n strange... i feel very awkward. i cnt believe my sister is fallen for him! esh esh esh esh....

ok today i do my hmwk until like nw! i noe it is sooo late but stupid damn bitchy MDM ROSLIZA! has burn my brain to black ashes... n now it is soot-covered... damn it... damn u... ok my brain r now burning to the maximum!

ok maybe i will post another post of a passage!

hey guys sorry for ' long time no blogging'

10 reasons:

Firstly: been very busy these days! i'm like fuck! i dnt have any space for shoppin, friends, family and dinner!! that is horrible!!

Secondly: i'm feeling tired lately! almost everyday i hve to go hme after 4!

Thirdly: studying like hell!! Mdm Rosliza and parents keep pressuring me!! haiyoh horrible ppl!

Forthly: got my hp spoil(W810I) grounded!!! still got anew hp (w610I)

Fifthly: got no time to on the computer!! only weekends! that is toooo horrible!

Sixthly: Got no BOYFRIEND! ok to me a bf is important as it really inspires me like hell for my studies!!( the serious guy i mean)

seventhly: I'm busy finding for boyfriend lately! haiyoh!

eighthly: feeling very hopeless after my blog has a problem!!

ninthly: an enemy arrives! a major one! she is one shit!

tenthly: gonna have a tuition at mercu every monday and wednesday





so im really bz lately!!! very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very sorry! i noe some of u will like say" u better be girl! it is a long period! u got my nerves girl!"
